Tony Blackman – Managing Director

Founder of Port Side Solutions back in 2014 with 20 years’ experience in the recruitment and the logistic industries, his wealth of knowledge has stood Port Side in good stead along with his passion to drive the business to new levels.

People would describe Tony has a family man. Devoting his time to his 4 children and dogs.

He would say his main passions would be Boxing, Football and Skiing along with the odd round of golf.

Miles Powell – General Manager

Miles joined Port side in May 2019, with over 10 years’ experience in the industry he looks after the daily running of the business.

Father of Olive and Ted and Husband to Jasmine, Miles would declare himself as a family man.

Playing at a semi-pro level for 12 years representing Felixstowe and Walton. Miles has played football since a young age and had stints at Norwich and Colchester academy.

Now retired he has traded the football boots for Golf sticks where he is a member at Thorpeness Golf Club. Playing off 15 he is hoping to reduce his handicap into single figures by the end of the year.

Joe Blackman – Recruitment Consultant

Joe has been with the company for nearly 2 years, Dealing with Drivers daily whilst fulfilling our clients needs.

Joe has become an integral part of the team.

When asked Joe was looking forward to developing his skills into becoming a 360 recruiter.

The last year has seen him pass his driving test and moved out of the family home whilst also travel to places such as Dubai, Amsterdam, and France.

Being a keen sportsman, Skiing and Boxing would be his first choices.
